Luc van den Avyle

Holland-XL has offered the powermonkey-explorer to Luc van den Avyle for live testing. Luc is in to extreme endurance sports and just returned from a run in Brazil. The run itself did not go so well but he still managed to finish a 70 km stage allowing him to test equipment and prepare himself for the Marathon des Sables which will be held in April.
Luc used the powermonkey-eXplorer to power his Garmin Forerunner 205 GPS (which is the charging wise the same as the 305) and it worked very well. During the run he used the solar-slave panel on the back of his backpack to charge the powermonkey and it managed to charge despite the heavy rain. It shows you the power of the sun and the quality of the powermonkey. He also managed to power his digital camera.
We expect more pictures soon and we will keep a close eye on Luc during his preparation for the Marathon des Sables.
