Does the solarmonkey also work indoors?
Although the green indicator might light up when used indoors, behind glass in the sun, or under a lamp, the charging current available will be limited. The solarmonkey is an outdoor product !
I've charged the solarmonkey in the sun but it won't charge my product. Is it damaged?
The solarmonkey itself has no internal battery. It is intended to be used to charge your product directly. If you want to charge a separate battery we recommend the powermonkey. Of course your are better of to buy the powermonkey-eXplorer kit. The solarmonkey can charge our powerchimp, powermonkey and as solarslave it is part of the powermonkey-eXplorer kit already.
I cannot find a connector for my product in the kit. Do you have additional ones?
Look under the section primate power for our product "monkeynut". There are various tips available and we are constantly updating available designs as new appliances sometimes come with new connectors. We try to give a comprehensive overview of which tip matches which appliance but this is almost an impossilbe job. Contact us if you have found a product that you can charge which was not on the list or if you have a product that is not on the list and you are in doubt.
