How The Pure Hydration Filter Works
 The Pure Hydration filters makes use of advanced filtration technology. The filter has a complicated matrix of 2-micron (absolute) holes which is known as the Torturous Path. The water passes through the filter, and because of the Torturous Path, waterborne pathogens (e.g. Cryptosporidium, Giardia) are removed. The absorbent media also helps to remove many different chemicals (iodine, chlorine, DDT etc), heavy metals (lead, mercury, etc.) as well as odours and tastes.
How The Iodinator Works
 The disinfection sleeve is composed of thousands of resin beads that have a special type of iodine bonded to them. The disinfection takes place by the beads creating a Fatal Attraction. The negatively charged micro-organisms are attracted to the positively charged iodine. Upon contact sufficient iodine is released from the beads, to create the "Fatal Attraction".
How "Fatal Attraction" works
 The iodine enters the organism, interrupting the DNA, which destroys it, preventing further reproduction. The Iodinator fits over the filter (see above). Fill the bottle from any fresh water source, attach the cap, shake the bottle to impart the iodine into the water, leave to stand for up to 15 minutes. Then squeeze the water through the filter as normal. The filter will remove iodine in the water leaving it totally fresh, safe, palatable and potable drinking water.
