USB Travel Plug
Q: What countries will my USB Travel Plug work in? A: It really works world-wide. If there is any country out there with exotic socket outlets not suitable for this product the change is high an alternate socket outlet is available in the same room. Q: How do I attach my USB cap? A: Press the button and click out the socket outlet part. Replace it with the USB part. See also the instructions which are on the travel plug packaging or request a copy from info@holland-xl.com in case you have lost yours.
Q: What devices can I safely use the travel plug with? A: You can use the travel plug with your laptop, mobile phone, battery recharger or any other device which draws a low current. Please note that items such as hair dryers, hair straighteners and kettles may blow the internal fuse of the travel plug.
Note: Use the USB travel plug only to power so called class II products. These are products with a plug that has only 2 pins an no 3rd pin or side contacts for earth connection.
Q: My travel plug has stopped working - what's wrong? A: Please check the internal fuse, it may need to be replaced. Your travel plug comes with a spare 5 amp fuse. For instructions on how to change the fuse, please see the instruction booklet that came with your travel plug or contact support@powertraveller.com
Q: Do you sell replacement parts for the USB Travel Plug? A: Yes, however these are not listed online and you will need to email info@holland-xl.com replacement fuse you can purchase at most electrical stores
Q: How do I retract the pins to store the travel plug or to select other pins? A: You will need to press the two buttons on the side of the travel plug and then use the slider to retract the pins. The pins will lock into place once out to prevent them from retracting back inside when the plug is inserted into the wall.
Q: Will the USB Travel Plug adjust the voltage for me? (i.e. will it allow me to use a 240Vac device in a 110Vac country?) A: No. The USB Travel Plug does not adjust the voltage for you. You will need to ensure your device can operate using the voltage available.
