Q: How big is the K3000? A: The dimensions of the K3000 are: 9.9cm x 3.7cm x 3.7cm Q: Will the K3000 charge my iPod / iPhone? A: No, the K3000 will not charge your iPod/iPhone if it is connected via the dock connector as the iPod dock is not powered in this model. If this is important to you, please consider the soundtraveller K3000ST.
Q: Will it work with my iPhone or iPhone 3G? A: Yes, the speakers will work with both models of the iPhone. You may get a message on your iPhone asking if you would like to use airplane mode, please select No/Cancel. If a message displays saying "This accessory is not made for iPhone", please ignore the message or click cancel.
Q: Can I use the K3000 with other audio devices? A: You can use the K3000 with any device (including MP3 / MP4 players, portable radios, laptops, etc) which have a standard headphone jack (3.5mm) using the audio cable included.
Q: I can't hear any sound from my speaker - what's wrong? A: Please follow these steps: - Ensure you have new / charged batteries inserted the correct way around in the speakers - Make sure the unit is switched ON (green LED on the front of the unit indicates speakers are ON) - Check that the volume wheel on the speaker is turned up to MAX volume - Ensure that the music is playing your device - Turn the volume up on your device
Q: Can I use rechargeable batteries in the speakers? A: Yes, you can use rechargeable batteries to power the speakers. Please note, they will not be recharged inside the speakers even if the speaker is connected to the mains.
Q: What ways can I power my speakers? A: You can power the K3000 speakers by either 1 x AA battery, via the USB cable (included) or from our universal mains charger (available separately via this website).
Q: How long will the batteries last? A: The speakers will run for up to 12 hours continuous play without any significant decrease in the quality of sound.
